Appreciation and Thanks
SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Katt; for reading the story and giving her honest opinion, editing, for helping with the character creation of Kava Jasper, the immense support you had given during the last two years of writing it, and of course, being my BIGGEST fan. You'll never truly know how much that means to me. You helped me keep moving forward when I didn't feel like I could. She also drew the axolotls and Teo on the cover! Thank you so much!
Appreciation and Thanks to the RPers
I'd like to give my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to so many people for this book and its following counterparts. They will be forever appreciated for their efforts, support, and contributions. Just know you're all appreciated.
I'm going to go in order of appearance:
Thank you, me, for writing this book. I appreciate you finally finishing it after 2 years. Just rolling my eyes over here.
Anyway though, let's be serious!
Devi, as per our agreement, I am infernally eternally grateful to you for allowing Kyra to continue to take place in the series. I know we've had our disagreements and issues in the past but I am and will always be thankful to you for bringing Kyra to life. Kyra is a huge importance to the story and to me. The relationship between Kyra and Amane is a reflection of a time that means a lot to me and I appreciate her inclusion as well as yours. It's a nice reminder that even after years of broken communication (on both parts) we can still work together. Thank you for making that part of my life and this story memorable. Oh right, thank you for bringing Ama to life as well. :P
Nick, there is so much I could say about our history of stories and even with the breaks in RP and creativity for us both, I still think I've done the most stories with you. We had a fun run in the old RP days with all the characters we created. I know early on we had some issues with Toshiro and I had to take over for a bit because I wanted him to stay in the story. I'm glad you came back to RP him because you set his attitude for the future. Even with the added character of Yasu (Ieyasu), we still found a way to make Toshiro work within the story. I'm glad you came in with an interest in making more characters because that made them memorable even if they weren't used to all the time. All of your characters mattered to me and I know it got hard to play them all differently at a point with confusion of who you were at the time. Still I appreciate you trying to bring them to life. Also we can't forget about [name redacted], we made him a power house which added to the group dynamic. (I'll fully thank you in Quadrant Three for him lol) Thank you.
You didn't give me a name to go by but I'll assume you want to be called Jared, since that's what you want to go by generally. If it wasn't for you sticking it out with me in the early days this story wouldn't exist. We did some things that were fun for an RP even though they were random. You helped me keep the drive for the RP alive and it kept helping me put more out. I was a bit more lenient earlier on when it was just us and I know I got tougher on the references to things as time went on. I apologize if it was a bit much. I genuinely just wanted it to stand on its own without the need of references holding it up. Silverwind was an asset to the story on his own and while I was initially fine with the dragon eggs, they became overpowered, but it was still a fun ride while we had them. We got into a long hallway battle with the hybrids which I recreated. Teo has become a character that stands on his own and is definitely the mentor of the group and Amane. I appreciate you letting him join in the fun once more as this new iteration of Silverwind. He's actually become one of my favorite characters to write. Thank you.
Warren, blarg honk blarrg honking blarg honk lol. Now that that is out of the way, I want to say thank you for allowing Tenkai into the story again. Sorry that I couldn't think of something else to save him from the snake but I really like how unique it is for us to have a character that gets taken immediately. A MAIN character at that. This was the second roleplay we worked on together and the first we made together. You'll always be a part of this series and without your desire to move away from FDRP with me, it wouldn't have happened. You also helped me set up boundaries for my work with the idea of contracts for characters to protect myself as well as other advice I was needing. Thank you for everything.
Appreciation and Thanks to the Supporters
To everyone who ever gave me support because I can't list you all, thank you!
I spent a lot of time struggling to get through the story and having a hard time feeling as if I was accomplishing things. The continued support from the people listed above and the people about to be listed meant the world to me as I was struggling to get by.
The family; for letting me talk about things in the story without you vocally rolling your eyes at me because I know it sounds ridiculous when its said aloud. The car trip and conversations when I was trying to figure out how to release it. Everything you did for me during those two years. Thank you.
Steph, for your continued support and having to hear about it for more than two years..more like twelve...lol. It's always nice to have outside support from someone who just wants to see me finish the book even if I feel negative about it at the time. You always helped me realize that I needed to keep pushing myself forward with it. Thank you. You're some of the best friends anyone could ask for.
Jonathan, we still don't grant you the rank of man..you're too pretty lol. I appreciate you giving me all the support that you can and helping me persevere through the downpours of rain and taking an interest in the book series. I really hope you enjoy it when you get to read it. Thanks man!
There are so many people who gave me support but these people were the major contributors to my support system. I appreciate everyone who gave me even an ounce of support more than you can imagine! Thank you all.
