These Bastions are homes to more nomadic type of people and is semi based upon Norse ideas with some of the main characters having Viking style names. There are three Elders for the Bastions, three high level of magic users, nine lower level magic users, and warriors. The area is created by a magical seed that drains the life from specific magic users who are tasked with caring for it and letting it feed from their spirits. It’s a dark twisted thorny seed that will eventually grow a Tree of Life. The current bastion is named: Allfather’s Bastion. This bastion is on a full continent which they have been traveling for many decades as a large a group.
